Rev Your Bev Is Coming to Surry County Public Schools!
We’re excited to announce we have partnered with the Rev Your Bev campaign, an obesity prevention initiative of the Virginia Foundation for Healthy Youth, to encourage Virginians to drink more water. We joined this campaign because we recognize that drinking water boosts academic performance, energizes muscles, helps maintain a healthy body weight, and improves oral health, among other benefits.
Rev Your Bev encourages students and staff to think about their beverage choices and how drinks impact hydration, energy, and overall well-being. The program focuses on education, balance, and healthy habits, supporting water as the go-to choice while building awareness around sugary drinks. To support this initiative, your child will receive their very own Rev Your Bev water bottle.
We look forward to working together with students, families, and staff as we roll out this program across our schools. We’re excited to “rev” up healthy hydration in our schools!
