Thank you for your attention to these important matters. As always, we appreciate your support in helping our students succeed.

Dear Staff and Families of Surry County Public Schools,
As we close out the year, I want to say thank you to our incredible instructional staff, support staff, families, administrators, School Board, and community. Your dedication, care, and Cougar Pride make a lasting difference for our students every day. Because of you, Surry continues to thrive.
As we enter winter break, we wish you time to rest, recharge, and enjoy the holiday season. We look forward to continuing our work together in the new year.
IMPORTANT SCHEDULE ANNOUNCEMENT:
Due to the number of inclement weather days used so far this school year, Wednesday, January 7, 2026, will now be a FULL DAY of instruction instead of an early dismissal day.
Thank you for your continued support and commitment to Surry County Public Schools.
Wishing you a joyful, peaceful, and well-deserved winter break.
Let’s continue to show our Cougar Pride in Every Stride!
With Appreciation,
Dr. Monroe
