CTE Industry Credentials
Beginning with first-time 9th grade students in 2018-2019, Virginia Department of Education graduation requirements include a requirement that students either complete an Advanced Placement, honors, or International Baccalaureate course or earn a career and technical education credential. Students earn a credential by passing an assessment related to a current or previously enrolled CTE course.
