Surry Elementary School is pleased to announce the 2024-2025 teacher of the year - Mrs. Cox!!
Mrs. Cox has been a second grade teacher at Surry Elementary School for the last five years and currently serves as the second grade team leader! She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in special education from Campbell University. She also mentors new teachers, led the Sunshine committee, and is an advocate for students with special needs. Congratulations Mrs. Cox!
