February is Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month, and at Surry County Public Schools, we are proud to celebrate the incredible educators who make our CTE programs thrive.
CTE teachers play a vital role in preparing our students for success beyond graduation. Through hands-on learning experiences, real-world applications, and meaningful career exploration, our students gain not only technical skills, but also confidence, direction, and a strong sense of purpose.
Every day, our CTE classrooms are filled with innovation, problem-solving, collaboration, and skill-building that directly connects learning to life. Whether students are exploring career pathways, earning industry credentials, or developing workplace readiness skills, they are building foundations that will serve them well in college, careers, and their communities.
The strength of our CTE programs is a direct reflection of the passion, creativity, and commitment of our educators. Their dedication to student growth, career readiness, and workforce development has a lasting impact far beyond the classroom walls. They go above and beyond to ensure that students are equipped with the tools and opportunities needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving world.
As we recognize Career and Technical Education Month, we extend our sincere gratitude to our CTE teachers and staff. We are truly thankful for the work happening in our CTE classrooms and proud of the difference it is making for our students and our community.
Thank you for all that you do to help shape the future workforce of Surry County.
